Microblog
The microblog is a blog where the content is shorter than a regular blog post. Most of the time it is just a short sentence that is linked to an image, a video or a link to another website. Sharing this short message is called microblogging.
Posting new status messages on social networks, such as Instagram or Facebook, is also a form of mircoblogging and often includes a cross-reference to a more detailed post.
