A feed is the arrangement or structure of posts on the homepage of a social media platform, such as the Instagram feed. It is also a place to share posts and interact with the community.
The Instagram feed determines the success of the social media strategy. Users are notified of changes to the subscribed Instagram profile via the feed, because the newest and most interesting posts are at the top of the feed.
A consistent style of the feed can be of great importance, because it creates a higher recognition value. A clear direction should be visible in every influencer profile; this can be ensured by using the same filter, for example.
On Instagram, the homepage is called the feed - on TikTok it is the "For you page".
