App
The term app (abbreviation for "application") refers to application software or an executable program that enables the use of one or more helpful functions. Apps are mostly used in connection with smartphones or tablets. So-called native apps are optimized and developed for a specific operating system, while web apps are designed for use on any device, they are nothing more than a mobile version of the website.
For the use of social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok or Facebook, an app is especially recommended.
